[2.000.000 SHU][C.Chinense] The Carolina Reaper is a chilli cultivar obtained from a cross between Pakistani Naga Morich and Red Habanero and grown mainly in South Carolina in Rock Hill. In 2013 it became the World's Hottest Chilli Pepper. The dried fruit is red and has an irregular shape with a pointed tail like that of a scorpion. Although it is extremely hot, the taste of the Carolina Reaper is fruity, with a sweet taste at first followed by a strong spiciness that lasts in the mouth for several minutes
